Creating A Spooky Castle-themed set for shows at Alton Towers Scarefest 2025
The brief
We were tasked to fabricate a castle-themed set to be used for 3 shows a day at Alton Towers Scarefest.
The concept
A Spooky old castle with sliding doors, windows and lighting elements to be used on Live shows following the clients plans.
The Creation
We fabricated a number of flats, all 4m high. We then moved on to creating the stone work using vacform sheeting, after this we brought our scenic team in to bring the set to life, adding layers of different paints and textures. To finish, we fabricated and aged the windows, doors and railings. The following week, we went to Alton towers and our team installed the project on site, liaising with lighting and sound teams to bring the set to life.
